Why this verse was written

John wrote this verse to clarify the nature of Jesus to his audience, which included both Jewish and Gentile believers. He wanted to convey that Jesus is not just a historical figure but the embodiment of God’s presence among humanity. By stating that the Word became flesh, John emphasizes the miraculous and transformative nature of Jesus’ incarnation, aiming to strengthen the faith of believers and invite others to understand the depth of God’s love and grace.
