Day 1: Children are a heritage

Psalm 127:3 WEB
Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward.

Parenting can feel like endless tasks. Scripture calls children a heritage—gift, not interruption.

“Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord.” Exhaustion is real; so is sacred trust. God gives children into our care for His glory and their good.

Have you been treating your child more as a project than a heritage?

Practice: Thank God by name for each child in your care. Lord, help me receive these children as Your heritage. Amen.
