Day 1: Living hope
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy became our father again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
Wishful thinking fades. Peter blesses God for a hope that lives because Jesus lives.
“He has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” Christian hope is as alive as the empty tomb.
Where has your “hope” been only optimism?
Practice: Thank God that hope is living because Christ is risen. Father, birth living hope in me today. Amen.
