Day 1: All have sinned
for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;
The gospel begins with honesty: we are not fine on our own. Paul levels every status and résumé before God’s glory.
“All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Sin is missing the mark of God’s holy beauty—not merely breaking rules, but failing to love God as He deserves.
This is leveling grace: no one boasts, and no one is beyond need. Where have you excused what God calls short?
Practice: Confess specifically, without comparing yourself to others. Holy God, I have fallen short. I need Your mercy in Christ. Amen.
