The Context — The History
Jesus healed a man born blind on the Sabbath, provoking a lengthy investigation by Pharisees. The healed man's testimony became a public challenge to religious leaders who refused to see.
The Narrative — The Lead-Up
After the man was expelled from the synagogue for defending Jesus, Jesus found him and revealed Himself as the Son of Man. He then taught that He must do the Father's works while daylight remained — the time for mission was limited.
