The Context — The History
Psalm 150 closes the Psalter with unrestrained call to praise using every instrument in the sanctuary. Israel's worship book ends not with complaint or question but with universal doxology, inviting all living creatures to magnify the Lord.
The Narrative — The Lead-Up
The psalm summons praise in God's sanctuary and mighty heavens for his acts and surpassing greatness. Trumpets, harps, lyres, pipes, and cymbals join the chorus. The final verse widens praise to everything that breathes, ending with Hallelujah.
