The Context — The History
Jesus spoke on a mountain in Galilee after His resurrection, commissioning Jewish disciples to reach the entire world. 'All nations' was a radical expansion beyond Israel, and baptism in the Triune name marked entrance into a new global family.
The Narrative — The Lead-Up
Some disciples doubted when they saw the risen Jesus, yet He claimed all authority in heaven and on earth. He then sends them outward with a mission to make disciples, baptize, teach obedience, and trust His ongoing presence.
